Ben Roethlisberger’s return to the lineup did not yield to a paradigm shift for the Steelers, who continued to build off a remarkable under trend set from last season, which now has Pittsburgh hitting the under in 13 of its last 17 games.

The Steelers did, however, clip the first half total of 23.5 points, thanks to a 1:26 drive that culminated with a 13-yard touchdown pass from Roethlisberger to James Washington with just seven seconds left, making the game a 16-10 score at halftime. Pittsburgh also managed to cover the first half spread (-3.5) with the late heroics.
