The Pittsburgh Penguins have assigned goaltender Mattias Modig to Wilkes-Barre/Scranton of the American Hockey League, it was announced today by executive vice president and general manager Ray Shero.
The transaction leaves 41 players on the Penguins’ roster: 23 forwards; 14 defensemen; and four goaltenders.
