Steelers finalize 53-man roster, cutting Maulet, Bussey and 15 other players

The Pittsburgh Steelers made their final cuts to solidify the 53-man roster Tuesday, releasing 17 players.

WR Rico Bussey, Cody White
RBs Trey Edmunds, Jaylen Samuels
OL Rashaad Coward, B.J. Finney, Chaz Green, John Leglue
TE Kevin Rader
LB Cassius Marsh, Quincy Roche, Jamar Watson
DB Mark Gilbert, Arthur Maulet, Donovan Stiner
P Jordan Berry
LS Matt Canaday

With the release of four offensive lineman, the Steelers will have a small cabinet of just four interior men on the depth chart, while the cutting of Gilbert and Maulet will leave the team with just four cornerbacks.

Quarterback Josh Dobbs was sent to the IR list in a corresponding move to the final trimming of the roster.
